Who are we?

We are Hoad Fabrics, one of Australia’s longest running and most trusted textile brands. For 90 years, we have been supplying our Australian and New Zealand customers with high-quality long-drop sheers in polyester, linen and linen blends. We range both wide and narrow width blockouts, and wide width triple weaves. Our range also includes wide width, translucent sheers, and uncoated fabrics including our wide width jacquard, Toulouse, a market first. We have acoustic-rated fabrics for home theatres and commercial projects. Need lining? We have blockout fabrics ranging from 150cm up to 320cm, and 300cm uncoated and 290cm triple weave linings in our range. We source our products from Australia and around the world.

BELMONT Sheer 315cm

Belmont is a 315cm cross-dyed linen-look sheer with a modern, rustic texture and an elegant, soft drape. Ideal for spaces where a denser sheer is needed, Belmont provides privacy while still allowing light to filter through. Made from 100% polyester, it is incredible versatile and comes with an AS1530-1993 Part 2 test report, available upon request.

HORIZON 2ND EDITION Sheer 320cm

Horizon 2nd Edition is an incredible soft, linen-look sheer fabric from Turkey. The expanded Horizon palette now features 6 new colours, celebrating today's most popular shades, including bright off-whites and warm sandy beiges, to cool greys, soft blues, and a striking charcoal. Horizon offers a colour for every mood and space.

With a width of 320cm and a weighted base, Horizon is ideal for longer drops and is made from 100% polyester, achieving an AS/NZS 1530.3-1999 rating for commercial applications

SEVILLE Sheer 320cm

Seville is a 320cm uncoated, translucent semi-sheer fabric. It can be used alone as a light-filtering privacy sheer or paired with our popular CMB or Atlas linings for a modern sheer and lining look. Featuring a light linen texture with a smooth, non-shiny finish, Seville comes in a convenient 320cm drop. Made from 100% polyester, it is stable and easy to railroad for today's extra-long drops. Available in 8 on-trend colours, Seville has also been AS1530-1993 Part 2 tested.

DAINTREE Blockout 290cm

Daintree is the latest addition to Hoad's linen-look blockout collection. It has a natural, organic texture, and an incredibly soft handle. Daintree is a practical, no-fuss blockout, perfect for your next domestic or commercial project.

NEWPORT Blockout 295cm

Newport is a 290cm wide blockout that has a modern, clean look with a classic, smooth texture and finish, reminiscent of Hoad's best-selling Magnetic range. Newport is perfect for all domestic and commercial applications where a soft and versatile blockout fabric is required. The handy 290cm width reduces the need for unsightly joins in the fabric, while the blockout rating protects your furnishings from the sun's rays.

VENUS Blockout 290cm

Venus is a 290cm lightly textured plain blockout that can be used as either a face curtain or as a lining behind your favourite sheer. Venus is incredibly soft and will hang perfectly every time. Venus offers exceptional value for money and will quickly become your blockout of choice.

VERONA Blockout 295cm

Verona is a 295cm blockout fabric with a silky-soft feel and a light texture, featuring a matte finish and subtle cross-dyed slub. It offers flawless performance, hanging beautifully from top to bottom with any heading type. Verona's muted, contemporary palette, available in 6 colours, complements any decor.
